Hi

good news for H-JTAG supports Cortex-m3.  from i testing. H-JTAG can detect my STM32 Board ( STM32F103RBT6 )  but when i tried to use H-Flash, it can't check target, program, erase or check blank.

SMDK6400

How can I add the Samsung ARM 11 core / SMDK6400 develoment board?

The JTAG cable on H-JTAG reports 0x00EB509D with a debug jumper in one position and 0x0123BFA0 in the other position.

Resets

Do I need to add the two transistors to parallel JTAG cable interface to 20 pin target for TRST and SRST? Or are those signals optional?
TMS, TCK, TDI and TDO are wired via a LS244 buffer (pins 3,4,5 & 11) powered from USB socket

Hi

I have not got automatic download to work in IAR. When i download bin file manually with H-flasher and attach IAR debugger to running target debugging works fine.

Any help?

1 - You need to enable auto flash download, H-JTAG -> FLASHER -> AUTO DOWNLOAD
2 - Select the right flash in H-Flasher

Than try again. Please let me know whether it works or not.

By the way, what's the type of your target, ARM7, ARM9 or CORTEX-M3?

Thx

Hi

Yes the autoflasher is enabled, but doesn't work. prosessor is STM32, so Cortex-M3. There is no error message from IAR, it just get stuck. I think IAR is waiting something.

From debug log.

A few questions
1 - You are using STM32F or LM3S from Luminary?
2 - Could you generate a HEX file and send it to me? I want to check the address. To generate the HEX file, you can cinfigure IAR like this:
IAR -> PROJECT -> OPTIONS -> OUTPUT CONVERTER -> GENERATE ADDITIONAL OUTPUT -> INTEL ...
3 - If possible, zip your whole project and send a copy to me. So, I can check everything and figure out where is the issue.

My email address is twentyone@hjtag.com

Thx a lot.

I got your email. I checked the address extacted from your HEX file. It seems ok. Could you change your IAR option and try again. Please change the option as follow:

IAR -> PROJECT -> OPTIONS -> DEBUGGER -> DOWNLOAD -> DE-TICK ALL.

Has anyone managed to program the flash in any of the newer Luminary Micros parts with 256K of flash?  I tried making the obvious edits to the LM3S101 file provided, but no luck.

My LM3S6911-based board fails to communicate at all over JTAG using Luminary's programmer and software, but HJTAG succeeds in recognising the device using an LPT-port JTAG adapter. That's why I hoped HJTAG might work where LMFlash had failed.

Thanks,
